PREDICTABLE PATTERN · PRESSURE TEST

Auto detect

Find your sensitivity under pressure. Repeat a fixed pattern: centre → four side targets → centre, repeating. Flick to the first side target, make three nearby adjustments, then return to centre.

  1. Find your pace. Start at 60 BPM. Clear groups to speed up until the task becomes challenging.
  2. Compare your feel. Test your current sensitivity, 4% lower and 4% higher at the same pace and with matched targets.
  3. Confirm the result. Repeat comparisons. Two wins can move the estimate; three rounds holding the best finish the test.

Only the first click within each target’s beat window is measured. Hit or miss, the target stays until that window closes. Extra clicks cannot skip targets; clicks outside the window are ignored. Large flicks and nearby corrections are measured separately. Centre returns keep the rhythm but do not influence the sensitivity comparison. We still measure corrections made before your click. Each trial begins with two settling beats.

Tempo is reassessed after each full comparison. Your current best setting drives small BPM steps; weaker trial settings cannot drag the pace down. Promising sensitivity changes get a repeat at the same tempo. Stops after three consistent rounds, nine comparison rounds, or five minutes. “Best tested today” is a starting point to check in game. Your saved sensitivity changes only when you apply the result.

CONTROLLED COMPARISON

Find a range.
Then build consistency.

Compare your current sensitivity with 10% lower and 10% higher. Six short flick runs use the same target sequence, with two trials per setting and a varied order.

Choose your pace before starting. All six trials use it so the comparison stays fair.

When all three sensitivities average 850 / 1,000 points, the next set gains 10 BPM (up to 180). Turn this off to collect several days of evidence at one difficulty.

Check the physical match first

The camera uses 0.07° × sensitivity per mouse count and a 103° horizontal field of view in a 16:9 viewport. Raw mouse movement is requested where supported. Browser input can differ: compare a measured mouse sweep with your game before trusting the match.
